Stories In Sound

WindSync is pleased to present Sergei Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf.  Not only will the wind quintet play the much beloved music for this story, but they will also act as narrators and characters in this fully staged adaptation complete with costumes and choreography.

In addition Young people will learn how the wind instruments produce sound through an old-fashioned Texas hoedown, and the audience will perform too – clapping rhythm patterns in a rousing finale.

Seating for daytime performances is on a “first come, first served” basis for the covered seating area. NO TICKETS ARE NECESSARY. NO RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE. As always, open seating on the hill. The shows goes on rain or shine. More information for school groups can be found here.
