Meet the five wind instruments of the orchestra in an educational, family-friendly show that brings classical music and the musicians to life as an unforgettable cast of Disney-like characters featuring the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn. Inspired by the landmark animated motion pictures that introduced classical masterworks to countless generations, WindSync’s Fantasia is an interactive and dynamic musical presentation suitable for audiences of all ages, especially children. In order to depict the playful storytelling nature of classical music, the ensemble performs a 45 minute concert of their own unique arrangements of such familiar musical treasures as Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 5 and No. 6 (Pastoral), Stravinsky’s The Firebird, Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and Tchaikovsky’s Suite from The Nutcracker. Complete with costumes and choreography, the engaging performance concludes with an exciting retelling of the classic tale, Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev where each musician becomes their animal character.

WindSync’s Fantasia is performed exclusively from memory and allows each of the five virtuoso musicians to act as well as play their part in the show.
