Conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, originally produced in New York by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan and Joseph Beruh.

One of the biggest Broadway and off-Broadway successes of all time, the musical Godspell is an electrifying, soulful folk-rock recreation of the Gospel of St. Matthew. An instantly unforgettable score by Stephen Schwartz including songs such as such as "Day by Day," "Prepare Ye the Way," and "Light of the World," combined with a variety of storytelling techniques, creates an undeniably powerful musical that continues to captivate audiences from around the world.

Prepare ye, a fun-filled, family-friendly evening awaits you!

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance, between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
