Splendid China V

Dance of Asian America and Mitsi Dancing School will collaborate with award-winning dancers of China Dancer Association National Lotus Competition Award-winning Troupe and Shanghai Dance Company.

The Troupe is comprised of China’s top ranking Principal dancers from the Beijing Dance Company, Beijing Song and Dance Company, and China’s National Song and Dance Company. 

This performance will feature dances from two of China’s most prestigious National Dance Competitions: The Lotus Cup National Dance Competition and the Peach Plum National Dance Competition.  Many of these dancers have won five or more consecutive Gold Medals.  Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness these amazing dancers.  This cultural event is fun for the whole family.

China has 56 ethnic groups. Each is uniquely marked with their own culture, traditions, and history.  Splendid CHINA V will showcase many of these ethnic groups through award-winning choreography and top dancers.  Join us for this unforgettable journey through China!
