Sing-A-Long Sound of Music is not just a chance to see the classic movie on the big screen in magnificent Technicolor and glorious cinemascope, it’s a major audience participation event with emcee, costume contest and subtitles for all the songs.
What Happens
If you’re not familiar with how the Sing-a-long-a shows work, here are the basics:
Costume
The important thing about Sing-a-long-a is that it’s completely inclusive – you join in as much or as little as you want. It’s not compulsory to dress up but many people do and it really adds to the fun. Dip into the wardrobe of your imagination and surprise us with your creation.
The pre-show
There is a 30-minute pre-film show during which the host leads you through a vocal warm-up, prepares you for special moments throughout the film and judges the costume competition. Everyone receives a free goody bag with special props for the “magic moments” that make the evening go with a bang.
Get ready to yodel in North America! This is your chance to sing-a-long to the most successful movie musical of all time. This is one of the funniest, most liberating nights out you will have for a long time.
