Hamlet

Atop the battlements of an ancient castle, a father – once a King – confides in his son. He hopes to convince the young Prince to become his instrument for personal revenge. It’s a persuasive argument - particularly since the old monarch has risen from the dead to make it.
Thus the gears of William Shakespeare’s colossal machine of Western literature - part supernatural thriller, part revenge tragedy – are set in motion. At its axis lies Prince Hamlet’s moral predicament – one man’s battle of the soul that has captivated the world for over 400 years.
This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
