Ragtime: The Musical

Miller favorite HITS Theatre returns with six performances of Ragtime: The Musical.

Ragtime, The Musical tells the compelling story of three families - one upper-class white, one Jewish immigrant, and one poor African-American - and how their lives intertwine as they face the timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, and hope and despair.

At the turn of the 20th century, these characters also learn what it means to live in America as they take this journey together on the “Wheels of a Dream.”

Featuring musical styles ranging from ragtime rhythms to brass marching bands, Ragtime is just as diverse as the melting pot that is America.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
