Children's Performance

HGOco and Opera to Go! present a new bilingual adaptation of Gioachino Rossini’s cherished comedy, adaptation/libretto by Kristine McIntyre.

The year is 1840. Rosina travels to Texas from Spain and falls instantly in love with Almaviva, a local ranch owner. But she sneaks him a note in Spanish, and he doesn’t understand it! Figaro, opera's most famous barber and sabe-lo-todo, plays translator in this exciting children's opera.

Seating for daytime performances is on a "first come, first served" basis for the covered seating area. NO TICKETS ARE NECESSARY. NO RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE. As always, open seating on the hill. The shows goes on rain or shine. More information for school groups can be found here.
