Arts with Social Impact, in partnership with the Hispanic Health Coalition, Foundation for Modern Music, BOUNCE (Behavior Opportunities Uniting Nutrition Counseling and Exercise) and FLAMART (Featuring Latin American Music and Art) present an evening of exciting Latin music.

Join the 50 plus musicians and dancers in a performance of great selections, with originals from Houston composers, a special world premiere for the event, and a nostalgic tribute to ‘the Queen of Salsa’ Celia Cruz.

Featuring the specially formed Houston All-Star Salsa Orchestra integrated by vocalists and instrumentalists from some of Houston best salsa groups in its Miller Outdoor Theater debut.

Special guests include; SOLERO Flamenco, the KIPP Houston High School Jazz Ensemble; and dancers from JAKS, DANMAR Academy of Performing Arts, the TSU Latin Club, Vincent James, and Strictly Street Salsa.

Another feature of this event is the health component where attendees can get information on how to use salsa as a source for healthy and active lifestyles.

This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
