ROCO opens Season 13 with To the Beat of a Different Drummer. This world premiere commission of Five Views for ROCO principal percussionist Matthew McClung is by pioneering composer Paul Lansky. Conducted by returning favorite Victor Yampolsky, the program also includes the rarely performed Symphony No. 2 by Kurt Weill, along with Paul Hindemith’s Cupid and Psyche, Igor Stravinsky’s Dumbarton Oaks, and additional ROCO surprises
