The Miller Theatre Advisory Board (MTAB) is appointed by MayorAnnise D. Parkerand confirmed by Houston's City Council through Section 32 of the City of Houston's Code of Ordinances.

 


MISSION STATEMENT

The Miller Theatre Advisory Board (MTAB) acts as a steward of public funds to provide professional-caliber performances, free to the public, at the Miller Outdoor Theatre for the cultural enrichment of Houston's diverse communities and visitors to this great city.

Character, plot, conflict, and setting are Texas Mime's Theatre's "silent partners" in this creative program that combines the art of pantomime with a lesson on the elements of stories.  Students might find themselves on stage as members of the "orchestra"!
